In Oxfordshire, children may enter school full time in the September after their fourth birthday. Although part of the main school, children in Reception (Cygnets) are based in our purpose built Foundation Stage unit (shared with Cropredy Pre-school) to complete the Foundation Stage of their education. Our admission number for Cygnets is 30 children. Sometimes, demand for places exceeds the number available. In these cases the Oxfordshire County Council criteria for admissions will apply.
Admissions
Cropredy School admits boys and girls across seven classes. One class per year group. Currently we have places available in each year group. Please contact us to come and see our school. We would love to meet you.

Attendance
It is obviously very important that children attend school regularly. We look forward to working in partnership with you to support your children’s learning and their individual needs to help them achieve their potential.
We are required to keep and monitor records of attendance, absence and lateness and the details are submitted to the Local Authority (LA). When children are away from school please telephone us before 8.45am on each day of absence. Wherever possible, medical appointments should be made outside of the school day.
