Friends of Cropredy School

Friends of Cropredy School PTFA is a charity run by parent and

guardian volunteers.

 

As a parent of a child at Cropredy CE Primary School, you are

automatically a member of the PTFA and as such you can attend

meetings, vote on proposals and make suggestions for spending or

raising funds.

Charitable Aim

Our charitable aim is:

To advance the education of the pupils at Cropredy School, in particular by supporting the school and encouraging links with the wider community, providing and assisting in the provision of extra facilities, resources and other sundries. This also includes subsidising extra curriculum trips and in-school visits which are not provided by the local education.

The Committee

 

We have a great committee, bringing together a great mix of parents from the various year groups and which we are always looking to add to.  There is a lot of enthusiasm in the committee and great ideas with a lot of fun to be had in creating, planning and running a variety of fund-raising events and activities. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We would love your input on what we should fund to enhance our children’s learning. Your thoughts about school resources, visits to places or talks from inspiring people are always very welcome.

If you have any suggestions, comments or ideas feel free to come and have a chat with any of the PTFA committee if you see us at school and we will try to answer any queries you may have.

Getting Involved with the PTFA

There are many ways you can get involved with the PTFA:

 

  • COME TO OUR MEETINGS – follow this link for a list of all future meeting dates. They are all held on Zoom, so please email the above email address to request the Zoom link.

  • VOLUNTEER – please message via the Facebook page or contact us directly on the above email address with offers to help. It doesn’t matter if you cannot volunteer regularly - all offers of help are greatly appreciated and are so valuable!

  • SPEAK TO YOUR YEAR GROUP REP

  • SUPPORT EVENTS – Please come and enjoy our events!

Raising Money

There are many ways that we fundraise:

PTFA EVENTS – We run a number of amazing, fun events each year which are communicated via the weekly school newsletters & are listed on the PTFA Facebook page – please save the dates!

 

SPONSORED EVENTS – If you are planning any sponsored events please consider Friends of Cropredy School as your chosen charity.

 

ASK YOUR EMPLOYERS, OR GET YOUR COMPANY TO HELP US – If you work, please ask your company if they would consider:

​

  • Match-funding a particular sponsored event or stall at one of our fayres

  • Buying an item from the PTFA wish list

  • Gathering a team of volunteers to help at the school e.g. Community Support day

  • Donating contributions of food and drinks for school events

  • Giving Donations – We are extremely grateful to receive all donations. We can currently accept cash or cheques made payable to ‘Friends of Cropredy School PTFA’.
