Interim Head's Welcome
It is a real pleasure, as Interim Headteacher, to welcome you to our website. Cropredy Church of England Primary school is full of vibrant, energetic and bright children and a dedicated staff who together, work hard to achieve amazing things. Our Christian vision for the school is drawn from Psalm 23: ‘The Lord is my shepherd’.
As a shepherd nurtures and provides for the flock, so we provide guidance, care and protection for every child, inspiring them to flourish, develop resilience and walk with confidence on their learning journey.
This vision is delivered and supported by six core Christian values, each one reflecting a different verse from Psalm 23, and we believe that through hard work and placing our trust in God we can provide an environment where your child will flourish.
At Cropredy we live out our vision by offering a nurturing environment where children are motivated and inspired to have high expectations with a love of learning. We value the importance of our outdoor environment and believe that it offers children the opportunity to flourish, develop their thinking and build their resilience, using problem solving skills when facing difficulties and challenges. With guidance children are encouraged to embrace their unique individuality and celebrate diversity in a safe place. Our values reflect our ambition for our young people to be confident and responsible citizens for today and in the future.
Our school is a caring and inclusive place, where individuality is positively encouraged. We welcome all children and aim for them to enjoy school life and be happy, with enquiring minds and a willingness and desire to work. As a staff we are committed to providing a stimulating and nurturing environment where every child feels able to go ‘Above and Beyond’ and reach their full academic potential through education of the highest quality.
We hope this website gives you an insight into life at Cropredy. If you would like to know more about our happy school, we warmly welcome you to come for a visit. The children love to meet visitors and share their achievements.
