Headteacher's Welcome

It is a real privilege to be the Headteacher of Cropredy Church of England Primary School.

Cropredy CE Primary is a caring and inclusive school where all individuals are valued and steered to achieve their personal best.  Children are guided in becoming confident and independent young people, who thrive on challenge, and are motivated to learn.  This is supported by a dedicated staff team, who have a high-level focus on pastoral care and nurture, ensuring each child gains full encouragement in every aspect of their learning.

Our Christian vision for the school is drawn from Psalm 23: ‘The Lord is my shepherd’.

As a shepherd nurtures and provides for the flock, so we provide guidance, care and protection for every child, inspiring them to flourish, develop resilience and walk with confidence on their learning journey.

This vision is delivered and reinforced by our core Christian values, that each reflect a different verse from Psalm 23. We strongly believe that through hard work and placing our trust in God, we can provide an environment where your child will flourish.

As a school, we wholeheartedly value the importance of our outdoor environment and believe that it offers children the opportunity to develop their thinking and build their resilience, using problem solving skills when facing difficulties and challenges. Skills that ensure they can meet the challenges of life with confidence.  With guidance children are encouraged to embrace and celebrate their unique individuality and celebrate diversity in a safe place.

I hope the website gives you an insight into life at Cropredy CE Primary School.  To find out more about our school, we encourage you to come and visit, to see us in action and meet the staff and children.

Please call the school office on 01295 750210 to arrange a visit to our school.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school, and to a happy and successful partnership with all our new children and families.
