Cropredy school at the 'Battle of Cropredy Bridge'

At the end of last year KS2 got a fantastic opportunity to visit the village celebrations of 375 years since the 'Battle of Cropredy Bridge'. The whole village was alive with history. The children got to meet the the Sealed Knot and members of the community, all dressed up and acting out the roles of the soldiers and village people who would have been there at the time.

The children participated in many activities and learned so many facts about what happened and how people lived during that period.

We are so lucky to have this rich history on our doorstep.
