OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
YEAR 6 RESIDENTIAL
Each year during the Autumn term, Year 6 pupils undertake a week long residential. Children can experience a range of outdoor pursuits including body-boarding, canoeing, climbing, abseiling and hiking. Pupils learn through living and working together and skills such as problem solving, becoming more independent and self-reliant are promoted. These valuable life skills are then transferred back to the classroom setting throughout Year 6.
This year our residential will take place at the National Trust Stackpole Outdoor Education Centre in Pembrokeshire, West Wales in October 2019.
TRANSITION TO YEAR 7
Cropredy CE Primary has excellent links with many secondary schools. Transition to Year 7 is an important process and we welcome visits from secondary school staff and encourage our pupils to attend the transition days to secondary schools.
In the past we have transferred pupils to:
-
North Oxfordshire Academy
-
Kineton High School
-
Chenderit High School
-
The Warriner
-
Blessed George Napier
-
Stratford Grammar
-
