During three days in August, Cropredy village welcomes over 20,000 music-lovers from around the world. It presents the school with an unique fundraising opportunity. For over 20 years, the school has been serving festival campers with a hearty cooked breakfast.
 
The event is run by a small committee of parents with children at the school. Each year we target a £5,000 profit from serving 3,000 breakfasts. We donate 10% of our profit to Cropredy Pre-school and the rest is donated to the school.
 
This money has helped to fund the foundation unit, interactive whiteboards, the KS1 learning area, the activity trail on the school field, the forest school facility and numerous school trips. Last year
each individual class benefitted from a bespoke donation and the school purchased 15 iPads. A step toward the target of 30 iPads, so every child in a year group can benefit on an individual basis.
 
Can you help us? We need 90 volunteers!!
 
All we ask is for 3 hours of our volunteers time, on the school playground during the second weekend in August. Will you consider helping us and contributing to this fantastic fundraising and fun, parent-led event? Every single child at the school benefits from the money raised. Please help us.

Our objective is ‘To advance the education of the pupils at Cropredy Primary School or Cropredy Pre-school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, additional resources, equipment or tuition not required to be provided by the local education authority for education at the schools.’
