At forest school on Friday Year 1 began to use their senses. On our journey there we collected lots of autumn items to put in our feely bags to test our sense of touch. Some of the things the children felt were a smooth hazel nut, a spiky conker shell, rough bark and wet grass.
Other children took part in self initiated problem solving to build a den in teams or cook up something yummy in the mud kitchen!
